Abstract: Two field experiments were conducted at the farm of El-Nubaria Agriculture Research Station in June (2009/2010). The current work aims to study the comparative asses of organic manures ( FYM and poultry manure) addition accompanied by biofirtilization with N2-fixers inoculum, VA mycorrhizal or a mixture of all them, under 0, 50, 75 and 100% of the recommended dose for each inorganic N and P-fertilizers, on the bulk density, infiltration rate of a calcareous soil, shoot dry weight, plant height, N or P in grain yield and 100 grains weight of maize shoots, N2-ase activity in rhisospheric soil, root infection rate and available N and P in soil. The results indicated that a positive effect of FYM or poultry manure was noticed when accompanied by inoculation with N2-fixers, VA mycorrhizal or a mixture of all them on shoot dry weight, plant height, N or P contents in shoots of maize plants. available N or P in soil, N2-ase activity, root infection rate, grain yield and 100 grains weight of maize, bulk density, infiltration rate compared with control and uninoculated treatments. Application of 50 % for each inorganic N and P-fertilizers was more effective, particularly with inoculation by N2-fixers inoculum or mixture treatment, while 75 % was more effective with inoculation by VA mycorrhizal treatment. Generally, inoculation with a mixture treatment when accompanied by FAM being more effective. It is concluded that inoculation with N2-fixers inoculum and VA mycorrhizal accompanied by organic manures can save 50 or 25 % of mineral N or P- fertilizers, respectively. and improved for some soil physical, chemical, biological and nutritional properties.
