Abstract: A field experiments were carried out on winter season 2010/ 2011 with wheat (Bani swif 1) and summer saeson 2011 with maize plants (Third hybrid 310) grown on a clayey soil at Sids Agric. Res. Station to study the effect of humic acid and different rates from recommended dose of phosphorous and potassium applications and sprayed with different trace elements alone or in combination on plant available nutrients in soil and the productivity of wheat and maize. HA was applied at the rate of 10 kg /hectar, P and K were applied at the rates of 0.5,1.0 and 1.5 recommended doses. Trace elements were sprayed at rates of 0.1 % Fe chelated(6%), 0.05 % Zn chelated (14 %), 0.05 % Mn chelated (13 %) and CuSO4 at rate of 0.1%. The experiments were conducted in a randomized complete block design with 4 replicates. The obtained resultes showed that the available contents of N, P, K in soil was increased with HA application alone , and these increases were more pronounced when PK were added. However, application of HA and PK and sprayed of trace elements together achieved the highest values of available N, P, K in soil. The best treatment was found to be 10 kg HA/hectar in combination with 1.5 RD PK/ hectar+TE. This treatment reflected its positive effect on the grain and straw of wheat and seeds of maize, where the highest increases in the grain and straw yields reached 8.2 ton / hectar and 16.2 ton / hectar, respectively. While, the seeds of maize reached 7.6 ton / hectar. Data also indicated that addition of HA, 1.5 RD PK and spryed with TE to the studied clayey soil markedly increased the contents of N, P, K in wheat grain and straw and maize seeds.
