Abstract: Soil potassium forms in Entisols and Aridisols in El-Qaa plain area, Southern Sinai have been studied. Total K ranges from 6.26 to 15.87 me/ 100g soil. It tended to be relatively high in the medium textured soils and low in coarse textured ones. Soluble K ranges from 0.01 to 0.42 me/ 100g soil. Exchangeable K varied from 0.17 to 0.67 me/ 100g soil. Kn values (non- exchangeable K form) range from 0.16 to 0.60 me/ 100g soil. CR.K values range from 0.12 to 0.19 me/ 100g soil. Step-K values range from 0.52 to 1.92 me/ 100g soil.
